My Beautiful Grandchildren

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Our grandchildren (and their parents) came for Christmas this year. Here are some photos taken at the Peabody Hotel. Click on them to make them larger.

This is me in front of my quilt "Heeling Garden". This was a guild challenge in 2000. We used a line of fabric featuring plants and flowers used in medicine. I decided to make shoes and figured I would be disqualified for not following the theme which was "The Healing Garden". Much to my surprize I won the grand prize. When the newspaper interviewed me, they said what a clever pun - Healing Garden, Heeling Garden. That had never entered my mind! It hangs in the Baptist Women's Hospital in Memphis.
